Depending on the services you wish to use, we may collect the following types of information: emails, transaction logs, data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We may collect information about your device, including your IP address, operating system and browser type (if available), for system administration, problem solving and improving the Service. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual person.

We do not use automated processing of personal data to take decisions that have legal consequences for the personal data subject, or to otherwise affect her rights and legitimate interests.

We guarantee that we will not directly sell users' personal data for monetary reward. ConvertL will not provide, sell, rent or loan any personal information to any third party.

3. Why we have the right to process your personal information

In general, we process data on the following basis:

Unfortunately, without your consent, we will be forced to terminate your access to the Service or severely limit your use of the Service's features. 4. Sharing personal information with other parties

Please note that as of June 2021, ConvertL partners with a KYC provider called SumSub to prevent fraud. They act solely as data controllers and process your personal data based on the consent you have provided to them. You can learn about their privacy policy here. ConvertL does not collect or process personal data for identity verification purposes.

ConvertL may share your information with third-party providers under contract to assist in parts of our business operations, such as: cryptocurrency exchange services, cryptocurrency purchase and sales services.

We ensure that any such third parties are aware of our obligations under this Privacy Policy and that our contracts prohibit them from selling your information to anyone else. We may share your information with the financial institutions we work with to process payments you authorize.

We may share your information with law enforcement or regulatory agencies as required by law.

5. Personal information protection

We take the security of your data very seriously.

We will not allow any third party to contact you directly about their products or services without request. We will not sell, trade or rent your personally identifiable information to others.

We use certain security measures to help protect the security of your personal information, but we cannot guarantee that these measures will prevent any user from trying to circumvent the privacy or security settings on the website through unforeseen and/or illegal activities.

We adhere to recognized standards to protect your information. In particular, we have taken at least the following measures:

 2. We test our systems for vulnerabilities and security issues at least once every 12 months;

 4. The incident response process is tested at least every 12 months;

Our employees and third parties who have access to your data are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data.

We continue to improve our data security system and make every effort to prevent data leakage. In the event of such a breach, we commit to informing users and regulators as soon as possible and making every effort to minimize the negative impact.

6. Data retention

We will only retain your information for as long as necessary to achieve the objectives outlined in this policy. We also limit the time we retain information to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

If you request the deletion of your personal data, we will delete the personal data within two weeks and comply with your request to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations. Please note that some data may be retained for legal, regulatory or technical purposes.
